Teens and Adults VS. College

Published by allyb at 4:46 pm under college Edit This

Planning future, making sure to have a job that will work to make sure one can make a living off of, and teens up to make the chooses of their lives, most with little help or even a way to start.

Going to college to try to make a living. Some get lucky and can skip that part and make it big in a world open to new ideas, and those willing to do anything. Many get left to the college idea, get the schooling and move out from there. Some teens get the wrong idea of this and have no help in planning as they try to decicde.

Where does one start? What degree to go for? How many actually care about the schooling part and not the parties?

Some suggestions for students, or even adults about to enter into college to help better themselves and their chances all start with ‘do the dirty work.’ What that means is actually look into what they can help bring to others, like special talents and where their talents can help bring out in a profession.

If you start by looking at a profession you would like, look into what is needed for that job, and how to make sure you can get that job before even starting school. Make sure you are going to college for the right classes, degree and how hard you have to really work to make sure you get noticed to get a job in the profession you want.

Another way to look is start by the degree in college. Go for a degree and look into what you can do with that degree. Branch out from there and add in college extra ways to help you move for a profession matching your degree.

Some degrees also give the wrong impression. The top one I’ve heard from is Criminal Justice Degree. Some thing by taking that they can go into a science field, like on TV, which they are wrong. In fact Criminal Justice helps with police, investigators, private security and a few other fields. Now for CSI or something in a lab, one might want to aim for Biology, Chemistry, or even Sociology Degrees.

Another major problem why most students turn away at a chance of college is the cost. Some don’t do the work to try and get scholoships, grants, loans, or any help. THere are ways of doing it, and most colleges can give you ways in helping finding others to help pay for college.

All this work deals with a lot of looking up information, filling out a lot of forms, and most turn away because they still can’t do it. In the end it helps to have extra schooling in finding a field to work in, and it all starts with knowing how to get to the place you want to be at, and working to that place.
